My husband and I knew we wanted to do a surprise dance for our guests at our wedding, but wasn't sure if we'd be able to pull it off. We thought it would be a good idea to start with some basics in the Level 1 latin-ballroom classes with Chuan. After his intensive 9-week lessons we felt confident enough to learn our own choreographed dance. We definitely couldn't have done it without him and the lessons we took with him were invaluable. Our wedding dance was a huge hit and people are still talking about today. Thanks Chuan for all your encouragement and patience!

It was three weeks before our wedding and my fiancé and I decided to try and tackle a entry dance for our wedding day. After searching through youtube and on-line tips we have come to realize that we definitely needed some support.

Toronto/Wedding Dance caught our attention, the website was beautifully displayed and more importantly the service they provided to us before signing up was superb. Finally the day came, our first dance session with Chuan and I tell you we were blown away. Chuan with his infectious personality made the lesson fun from the start. His approach and knowledge of dance made learning fun and easy. With only three sessions our time was limited but always valued. Chuan basically took two regular people and helped them tackle their dream, the wedding entry dance! On the wedding day the dance that was taught to us, felt so real, so natural, it felt like we were dancing for more than just three weeks.

Thanks to Toronto/Wedding Dance and Chuan we now look at dance differently, dance is in our lives and vocabulary!

"can you teach us to do that?" and our answer was: " Take 3 courses and a couple private lesson with Chuan and you can do it also". Everyone was so delighted and so were we.

Only your teaching made us be the most perfect couple we actually could be that night and astonished our friends and family. That´s how you, as a Canadian dance teacher, made it into our hearts and to the ones of our beloved.

Background: They both took Latin-Ballroom 1,2,3 from Chuan in 2006. Then they moved to Vienna and couldn't find any good instructors there. They came back to Canada May-June 2011 and took wedding dance lessons from Chuan for their first dance. They plan to move back to Toronto in 2013.

Within 5 lessons, Chuan taught us a well choreographed routine that wowed our guests!

It was not an easy feat for my husband who describes himself as having two left feet and no rhythm, but Chuan was patient and taught us a solid foundation for dancing the Rumba. Despite our nervousness on the day, we performed our dance without any hiccups, and our guests very impressed!!

My husband and I had signed up to take lessons from Chuan for our first dance a month before our wedding date. It was a last-minute decision and we were a little nervous about the timing (cutting it too close) but Chuan was able to teach us the basic steps of the Cha cha cha with the song of our choice. Chuan's approach to teaching had us thinking in terms of moving instead of just left/right steps. Our wedding dance was a great success! Thank you!

My wife and I had absolutely no previous experience in dance, but after three short lessons with Chuan and a bit of practice at home, we put on a flawless performance for the first dance at our wedding.

Chuan provided easy to understand instruction on the fundamentals of the foxtrot and not only taught us what to do, but also how to avoid common mistakes. We certainly felt very natural out on the dance floor on our wedding night and our guests agreed.
